Ayuthaya: The Last capital of Thailand

About Ayutthaya: The Last capital of Thaniland

HI,
I would like to take this opportunity to share with you about 75 images taken over a twenty-year period at Ayutthaya, the last capital of Thailand. In the late 1700s, the Burmese invaders had rousted most of Thailand, and entered the country at Three Pagoda Pass. In this pictorial of Ayuthaya, We see the three chedis which represent the Three Pagoda Pass where the Burmese crossed into Thailand, only to be chased out a few months later by Tak who became King Taksin the Great and thus began the Charkri Dynasty.
