Habitat: In deciduous woods (Fagus, Quercus and Carpinus) and sometimes under conifers (Picea) in woodland soils.
Distribution: So far only known of from Europe.
Season: August through October.
Dosage: Presently Unknown.
Comment: This species has dark brown scales but without the usual greenish hues found on other psilocybian species of Inocybe.
