The Pet Fungus Operators are offering an alledged Oregon Strain of Psilocybe samuiensis alledgedly found in Eastern Oregon. This species is only known of from Koh Samui and Ranong Province, Thailand and from Angkor Wat, Cambodia. When Contacted, They claimed they i.d.'ed the mushroom from John Allen's photo in Paul Stamet's, "Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World." When they were informed that its existence in America was impossible, and that their identification was wrong, they raised the price of sporeprints from $60.00 to $160.00 a print. This is a rip off. There are no Psilocybe samuiensis Guzman, Bandala and Allen growing on the West Coast of America. It is a tropical species only indigenous to the region where it was first discovered.
