Landscaping with Mushrooms by Pet Fungus

The Pet Fungus Operators are offering an alledged Oregon Strain of Psilocybe samuiensis alledgedly found in Eastern Oregon. This species is only known from Koh Samui, Thailand and Angkor Wat, Cambodia. When Contacted, They claimed they i.d.'ed the mushroom from John Allen's photo in Paul Stamet's, "Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World." When they were informed that its existence in America was impossible, and that their identification was wrong, they raised the price of sporeprints from $60.00 to $160.00 a print. This is a rip off. There are no Psilocybe samuiensis Guzman, Bandala and Allen growing on the West Coast of America. It is a tropical and pan-tropical species only.

 
The Shroomery is not a recommended site for accurate information.

While their Cultivation Forums and Grow Log and Picture Forums are respectable and provide a great site for learning how to grow edible and other mushrooms.
However, they ruin the sites reputation by allowing an Off Topic Discussion Forum known by members as the OTD
. This forum is often frequented by under-aged minors and filled with pornography, filth, beastiality, gay-bashing, and very vulgar language, including common racist use of the "N' word.

It is a most disgusting site and not good for those who are really interested in learning about magic mushrooms, their identification, or their history. The Shroomery is the biggest spreader of mushroom misinformation on the internet.

On this Links page are numerous alternatives to the shroomery, and these links are good sources without the filth spread by shroomery.org.

IT seems that only their Cultivation Forums are honest and free of the OTD crap spread by a few who control the OTD forum for which its administrator and owner, Ythan Burnstein, cannot control. Mr. Burnstein had his employee, Thor Jonsson, A Canadian citizen, fraudulently sell me the Domain name of http://www.mushroomjohn.com. A Domain name which I, John Allen, paid for in good faith with a personal check drawn on my U.S. Bank of America Bank Account, and then Ythan had his employee, Thor Jonsson, accept my payment and then fraudulently registered the my sites Domain Name name as belonging to the Shroomery.

To me, Ythan Burnstein is a low-down dirty thief and a scumbag.
