MUANG BORAN (The Ancient City), THAILAND
| HI, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you this beautiful National Park situated two hours east from Bangkok. Muang Boran, otherwise known as the 'Ancient City,' is build geographically in the shape of Thailand. In fact, where ever there is an actual historical site or monument located in Thailand, an exact replica ranging from one/third to lifesize replica is built geographically in this park in relation to its actual historical location. The Park opened in the mid 1950s and the first guests to cross the entrance line were his Majesty, the King of Thailand, and the English Queen, Elizabeth and her consort, Prince Philip. |
