Hello and welcome to our News archives. In this section you will find a wide variety of newspaper clippings regarding the visionary mushrooms. I Started to catalogue these clippings back in 1973. They are arranged alphabetically newspapers and then chronologically by dates. In additon, I would like to add that one must not beleive everything one reads in a newspaper. Although the majority of these articles are loaded with misinformation, They were at the time, the only source of public knowledge reagrding the sacred mushrooms.

The Telegram News Last updated at 12:53 PM on 11/07/07 RNC street drug team discovers clandestine psilocybin lab. The Telegram The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary street drug team has discovered a small clandestine psilocybin lab in east end St. John’s. On Friday, a search warrant was executed under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act at a residence in the east end of St. John’s. This is the first Lab of this type encountered by the RNC in this area. Psilocybin is a hallucinogenic compound obtained from certain mushrooms. The dangers of the use of this drug are psychological with the possibility of a “bad trip” leading to feelings of fear, anxiety and disorientation. Charges are pending against an 18-year-old male The RNC street drug team is continuing to investigate this operation and asks anyone with any information pertaining to this matter or any drug-related matter to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
