Imagine you go to a party planning to have fun with friends and meet new ones. You're offered hallucinogenic mushrooms and decide to have some. After going through the bag of them, you're tripping so high that you wind up stealing cars and driving to the middle of nowhere until you are officially lost. This person then left the second stolen car and started hiking to a nearby house asking the neighbors to call 911. Yes, he got help but he also go busted.

A Delaware college student ate a bag of hallucinogenic mushrooms and drove around in a pair of stolen cars before arriving, confused, on a mountain in northwest Connecticut police said.

Paul Cunningham, 21, hiked to a nearby home Thursday night and asked to call 911, police said.

"I think I stole a car," Cunningham told a dispatcher. "I'm not sure."

Police said Cunningham, of Dover, Del., confessed that eating an entire bag of mushrooms, "probably wasn't a good idea." He allegedly told investigators that he had no idea how many laws he broke during a three-day excursion that took him 300 miles from home.

A student at Wilmington College, he told a state trooper that he bought the drugs in Dover on Monday, according to the Republican-American of Waterbury. The next day, he went for a drive and twice got lost in Connecticut.

He told police he remembers taking a train to LaGuardia Airport in New York, where he found a car with its keys in it. He's unsure where he went from there.

"I once again found myself lost in Connecticut," Cunningham reportedly told police.

After locking the keys in the stolen car, Cunningham allegedly stole a van from a Southbury rest stop.

In Canaan, he decided to climb Music Mountain to see what was on the other side, police said. Investigators believe the exercise cleared Cunningham's head.

"I want to correct my mistakes," Cunningham reportedly told Trooper Andre Roy. "In retrospect, this was a bad idea."

He volunteered a written confession, police said. He was arraigned Friday and was held on $2,500 bail. Both stolen vehicles were recovered.

My shroom trip kicked ass, till someone yelled at me. Then it declined, and then I started to peak.. I ate 5 grams/... bad idea.. I thought I was Jesus Christ, and that everything that ever existed was in my head. So inturn anything I wanted I could have, and I wanted to be in California so my room turned into a beach in Santa Cruz.. Then I started to feel warm , and pissed myself. I wallowed in my piss for awhile. Went upstairs my brother was moving shit out of his room so he could paint, but I thought it was like post apocolyptic world, and that I had urine all over me, and he was like wat the fuck is wrong with you. So I layed on my kitchen floor for a bit. Went downstairs watched family guy, I saw an episode that none of you have ever seen. Hell it doesnt even exist! Then I thought I fell asleep thought I was dreaming I was actually hallucinating. I thought I was Schizophrenic, and everytime I talked out loud it felt like out like Woody Wood Peck making his Coo Coo noises. Then the room spun holes in the floor opened up, My pink floyd poster came to life, and to top it off I thought hendrix was aging on my wall while playing the guitar. My brother said I was shouting in my sleep. The rest of th crazy shit I dont even remember.

edit: O yea I invented a few people. and renamed my room the Inventorium!(the exclamation point is pronounced)

Yeah 14 is way too young for that type of stuff especially cause they don't know how to handle it or how much to take.

Day-um...

My guess is those kids knew exactly what they were taking and they were just too strong for them, or they took too many.
