Ruminants and their Shroom Habitats

BAN HUA THANON,
Koh Samui, Thailand

Hello to all lovers of mushrooms. Here is a photographic essay of the habitat of Psilocybe cubensis and/or Psilocybe subcubensis, Psilocybe samuiensis, Panaeolus antillarum and some beautiful Flower styled mushrooms. In 20 years of coming here, no Copelandia mushrooms have ever been observed.
These species in this essay can be found many locations of a gigantic Rice Paddie and Coconut Grove area in the southwest Region of Koh Samui. This particular area of this gigantic shroom area is pictured where the red arrow points near the Muslim Fishing Village of Ban Hua Thanon, Koh Samui, along Highway 4169.
This Pictorial features both the habitats of the Pink and Gray water buffalo (Quai) and the mushrooms from which their manure produces.

The Coconut trees in the first two images are where I first found Psilocybe samuiensis

A little farther beyond the coconut trees showed in the above two images

This image below is to the right of the entrance of Ban Hua Thanon where I first found Psilocybe samuiensis

This area is beyond the coconut tree area where I found Psilocybe samuiensis in above iamges

Here we have a rice paddie square with several dung heaps of Panaeolus antillarum (non-active)

And from another region of the rice paddie field is a nice fruiting of Panaeolus antillarum

While Gray Buffalo rule the field, here are some of the pink ones at Ban Hua Thanon

Along the right forward center from the entrance, Hypholoma species dominate the paddies
