Ban Nathon and Ban Hua Thanon, Koh Samui




 
Hello to all lovers of mushrooms. Here is a photographic essay of some of the various habitats of Psilocybe cubensis/Psilocybe subcubensis and Copelandia cyanescens. Also common in these buffalo fighting arenas are species of Coprinus, Panaeolus antilarum, Panaeolus sphinctrinus, Psilocybe coprophilla, Bolbitius spp., Psathyrella spp., Lepiota spp., Chlorophyllum molybdites, Conocybe species and Reeshi mushrooms growing on coconut tree poles, to name a few. This Pictorial features the habitats of two buffalo arenas. One just north of the Port Village of Ban Nathon, and a larger arena at the south end of the Ban Hua Thanon fields of Koh Samui Island in the Gulf of Thailand.
