Hello to all lovers of mushrooms. Here is a photographic essay of some of the various habitats of Copelandia spp.,
from Ban Lamai Koh Samui,Thailand. This Particular Coconut Grove is situated near the village of Ban Lamai off of Highway 4169. It only has only has cattle (bos, wua, cows) and produces mass amounts of Copelandia mushrooms. No cubes have ever been collected here. Between May and September of 2005 up until September of 2006, numerous homes and bamboo shops have been build along the highway in front of this Coconut Grove, practically hiding it form public view. Some have placed barb wire fences to keep the cattle form their homes and businesses.
