This is the first place I found Copelandia cyanescens and cubes together on or about 3 February, 1988.

Ruminants and their Shroom Habitats
BAN SAKET
Koh Samui

Hello to all lovers of mushrooms. Here is a photographic essay of some the habitat of Psilocybe cubensis/Psilocybe subcubensis andCopelandia cyanescens.
This Pictorial features images from Ban Saket, Koh Samui. At the time of the year, in February of 1988, I was lucky to find some specimens since the normal mushroom season is during the monsoon rains which fall from late May to October. There was also an old run down and over grown by wild grasses, a delapidated bamboo pole buffalo arena, not used since August of the previous year. From June until September or so, buffalo arenas are moved each month to various locations around the island. At the time of collection, only cows 'Kateng' (Bos gaurus, wua) were observed in the Coconut Grove at Ban Saket off of Highway 4169.

2 images of Bos Gaurus ('katang, wua) cattle at the Coconut Grove near Ban Saket, Koh Samui.

Here we have some Copelandia cyanescens growing from manure.

Interestingly, here we have both Copelandia cyanescens and psilocybe cubensis in the same manure heap.

And here are some large specimens of Psilocybe cubensis with some slight bluing around the edges of the caps.
