Two more images of jungle caterpillars. In the 2nd image are two who will never mate.

Not above us we see the dreaded Kutatang (grasshopper of sorts). He can open your hand with a thrust of his hind legs. They are very powerful.

Above us we see a beautiful peacock and a cute bunny rabbit.

Above, one of our friendly foraging students taking a break on the back porch of our lodge.

The above images of our front porch show some of our various shroom collections from three days of foraging.

After three and a half days of travels from Bangkok to Suphanburi, to Burma and then to Tak, we had not found a single magic mushshroom. On the morning of our final day in the jungle montane regions of Tak, and just as we were preparing to pack our collections and hit the road, Dr. Sihanonth came into the lodge to inform me to come quickly for he had just discovered a lone specimen of "hed kee quai" on a lawn around the corner of our cabin. The above image shows the kind of lawn by the cabin where this shroom was collected from at 1000 meters altitude.

Well I thought that is impossible. There is no manure heaps anywhere on this land at 1000 meters.
However, there was a shed with an aluminum siding for a roof and under the shed was about a few hundred pounds of powdered dried manure. The forest rangers and workers use this to fertilize the common lawn areas at the camp grounds at this part of the park.

My first view of the lone specimen. And a close up of that specimen.

On the next dozen or so pages we present Mushroom John's expanded foto pictorial of his attempt at the cultivation of this 1000 meters altitude Psilocybe cubensis mushroom whose spores were obtained from a print which produced 7 flushes of beautiful sacred shrooms.
